Professor Vilásia Martins from the Graduate Program in Food Engineering and Science traveled on a working mission to Cornell University, United States, one of the world's top Food Universities. On the occasion, meetings were held with Prof. Julie Goddard, Prof. Sam Nugen and Prof. Carmen Morarue team members for future collaborations.

The Food Science Department's labs and other facilities were visited, including a visit to the Dairy Industrial Plant they own inside the Department's building and also visiting another Cornell Campus in Geneva.

It was also possible to participate in several lectures, including one Purdue University Professor, and another with the presence of Chef de Pie Polymers, which made it possible to observe theory and practice in a single moment.
