The course, Data-limited stock assessment, promoted under the project "Scientific Subsidies for Spatial Management and Ecosystem Approach of the Demersal Fishing in the Southeast and Southern Regions of Brazil (CNPq)" and organized by Prof. Luís Gustavo Cardoso aims to subsidize the project's work and to train students from various institutions that work in teaching and fishing research in the country.

It will be taught by Dr. Jason Cope of NOAA - Fisheries from 16 to 18 September 2019 at ESANTAR headquarters. Dr Jason has extensive experience in data-limited stock assessment and has conducted training in various countries. 

Three vacancies, one for teaching and two for students, are open to PPGs linked to the PrInt / FURG Projects, Global Climate Change and Bio / Geodiversity and Marine Bio / Geoprospecting.
